What do these abbreviations mean?
EDP - Eau de Perfume One of the most used and best
known concentrations of perfume. Concentration of the perfume oil is between
8–15% Fragrance persists hours with basic tones lasting up to 24 hours making
it perfect for all-day use. EDT – Eau de Toilette The second
of the most popular concentrations. Contains less perfume oil than Eau de
Parfum, 4–8%, so it's lighter perfume type and usually is also less expensive
than Eau de Parfum. Smell also persists hours but not all day. More appropriate
for evening use.
EDC – Eau de Cologne Eau de Cologne. Originally it was a
specific perfume brand name produced in Cologne, Germany. Outside of Germany
this term is rarely used, contains 2–4% concentration of the perfume oil.
What does the term „Tester“ mean?
Tester perfume does not differ with its composition is no smell and does not differ from other parfémov.Tester bottles come always in the largest packaging and the same quality as other perfumes. Customers in stores test their chosen fragrance from tester perfumes. This fragrance is different from the normal perfume only in packaging which is usually a plain white box and the bottle is sometimes without a lid.
What does „fl.oz.“ mean?
This abbreviation we may encounter while browsing the composition of perfumes. Expression fl.oz., the Anglo-Saxon unit of measurement, stands for „fluid ounce“. 1 fl. oz. = 28.4 ml. We may also come across"U.S. fl.oz." The difference is that this is not the Anglo American unit of measure but it's US counterpart. 1 U.S. fl. oz. = 29.5735296 ml.
